Maple Balsamic Glazed Hakurei Turnips

I do this with carrots all the time. Then, one fateful day, I didn’t have any carrots in the refrigerator. But I had turnips. Mind blown.

Maple Balsamic Glazed Hakurei Turnips

Ingredients
  • 1 pound hakurei turnip
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1Tablespoon maple syrup
  • salt to taste
Directions
  • Step 1 Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Trim turnips and cut into quarters
  • Step 2 Saute turnips in butter, shaking the pan occasionally, until turnips are lightly browned and fork tender
  • Step 3 Remove from heat, add vinegar, syrup and salt, and toss to combine
