Final CSA week of 2023

Final CSA week of 2023

It is the last week of our 12th season as CSA farmers.  Thank you for your part in making this possible!   We had challenges, we do every year, but I think we had a great year none the less.  In the coming weeks we will be reflecting on how everything went, what we learned, and what we still need to figure out.  The work of farming is year round, but we are entering our slower season.  Which means more free time for farmers!  I am looking forward to having more time oil painting and recreational running.  And I am especially looking forward to Randy resuming his role as head baker and keeping us in homemade sourdough and pizza from scratch every Friday.

We especially want to thank our wonderful team of employees.   Here on the farm, Monica, Robin, Meg and (until recently) Anna make it all possible.   They have a big role in our success and it is a pleasure to work with these folks.  Mary clocked another year as our farmers market sales person and our booth could not be in more capable hands.    And of course Katie, Ben and Jen are due our gratitude for delivering shares.  We can’t do it without these people.  Thank you!

We will still be at the Cooper Young Community Farmers Market every Saturday at least until the end of the year so you can still enjoy our produce.  If you want to keep up with what’s happening on the farm over the winter, you can follow us on Facebook or Instagram.  We will be sending out e-newsletters about once a month just to stay in touch.  You will be able to sign up for next year’s CSA in January.  Don’t worry, we will be in touch!  You wont miss it.   We wont let you.
