Tubby Creek Farm is hiring a Production Manager. This person will work closely with farmers Josephine and Randy as well as 3-5 seasonal part-time employees to produce high quality, Certified Naturally Grown produce for our CSA program, farmers markets, and wholesale orders.
We started Tubby Creek Farm in 2011, and have steadily grown in production and profitability. The farm features five acres in vegetable production, a perennial fruit and berry orchard, four high tunnels, a greenhouse, and a 1500 square foot wash/pack and cold storage facility. We also raise laying hens and kiko-cross meat goats on pasture.
What’s great about working at Tubby Creek Farm? We are a profitable small farm. While the vast majority of farmers in the United States have off-farm employment, Tubby Creek Farm is our only job. Not only do we have eleven years experience farming this piece of land, that experience encompasses a wide range of crops and diverse marketing channels.
Growing good food for people is meaningful and rewarding work. The wide variety of hands-on, outdoor tasks changes with the seasons. Working with nature is challenging and requires creative problems solving and flexibility.
We have room to grow! Our farm has so much potential. We are looking for someone who is interested in opportunities for long term partnerships and collaboration. We want to hire someone who is interested in growing with Tubby Creek Farm for years to come.
