In 2021 we decided we needed to invest in a proper greenhouse and more high tunnel space. We decided to go with an Atlas Greenhouse manufacturer for our greenhouse and gutter connect double bay high tunnel more on them later.

Over the previous ten years we have been starting all of our transplants out of non heated DIY greenhouse. The old greenhouse worked. We saved money and started tons of plants but anytime the temps dropped near to below freezing we were moving trays and trays of plants into warm buildings or running extension cords and space heaters out to the old greenhouse, not the safest thing to do.
The old greenhouse we built in 2017 was 30 foot by 30 foot and upfront next to the old wash pack shed by the road. our new green house is more then double the space, just at 30 feet wide and 72 feet long. It has double layer poly on the roof and end walls, propane heat, circulation fans hanging from the cross braces, with thermostat controlled vents and exhaust fans.
