Goldenrod pairs great with asters to feed monarchs and other pollinators in the fall. I have two very different goldenrods for your consideration this year. Grass leafed goldenrod, Euthamia gramifolia, likes it a little damp, spreads by rhizomes and gets 2-4 feet tall. Solidago rigida, stiff goldenrod, gets 3-5 feet, likes it drier and forms a clump that will not spread by rhizomes. Preorders open now for pickup on May 9th at tubbycreekfarm.com
